What Nassau & Suffolk homeowners say
“Kevin's crew repainted our entire colonial — three coats of Benjamin Moore Aura, new color on the shutters. They prepped every surface, caulked every seam, and were cleaner than any contractor we've had in the house.”
Jennifer M.
Massapequa
“Refinished our kitchen cabinets — Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane in satin. The finish is glass-smooth. They sprayed the doors off-site and brush-cut the boxes on-site. No overspray anywhere.”
Tom D.
Huntington
“Kevin himself came for the estimate. Walked the house, pointed out two areas of failing caulk I hadn't noticed, and explained exactly what prep was needed before paint. The invoice matched the estimate to the dollar.”

Common Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to paint a house on Long Island?+
A full-house exterior repaint on Long Island typically runs between $3,500 and $8,000 depending on square footage, prep condition, siding type, and paint grade. Interior whole-house repaints vary by room count and ceiling heights. Every estimate is free, on-site, and itemized — no deposit required to see your number.
Are you licensed and insured in Nassau and Suffolk County?+
Yes. We hold Nassau County HIC License #H2256800 and Suffolk County License #51009-H. We carry $1M general liability and full workers compensation. We are also EPA RRP (Lead Renovation, Repair & Painting) certified for safe work on pre-1978 homes.
What paint brands do you use?+
We're a Sherwin-Williams Preferred Contractor and a Benjamin Moore Certified Applicator. Our default exterior systems are Sherwin-Williams Duration, Emerald, and SuperPaint, and Benjamin Moore Aura. For interiors we specify Regal Select, Advance, Aura, and Emerald Urethane depending on room and sheen. We don't buy box-store contractor-grade — it doesn't hold up in Long Island salt air.
Do you do prep work, or is that extra?+
Prep is not an upsell — it's the job. Every quote includes pressure washing exterior surfaces, scraping failed paint, sanding glossy areas, spot-priming bare wood, caulking gaps, patching drywall, and masking floors and fixtures. Kevin says 80% of a great paint job is prep. We price accordingly.
Can you paint kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?+
Yes — cabinet refinishing is one of our specialties. We remove all doors and drawer fronts, spray them in our shop with Benjamin Moore Advance or Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane for a factory-smooth finish, and brush the boxes on-site. A typical kitchen runs about a week. Most clients spend $1,800–$4,500 — roughly a quarter of what replacement costs.
When is the best time to paint the exterior of my Long Island house?+
Long Island has two exterior painting peaks: April–June before humidity climbs, and September–October after temperatures drop and before frost. We avoid painting exterior siding when humidity sits above 85% or temperature drops below 50°F overnight. Interior work is year-round.
